LOOKBOOK: LISA FOLAWIYO'S SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION.

I'm in love with everything Lisa Folawiyo. and this collection is no exception.
The brand unveiled its Spring/Summer 2017 collection at the ongoing New York Fashion Week and the lookbook which features top model Mayowa Nicholas, was released yesterday. The silhouettes, volumes and palettes are really to die for. I call it wearable art. The designer plays with a filigree of sequins, see-through lace, jouy prints and a half flamingo print.
The colors are phenomenal- burnt orange, golden rod yellow and natural blue. The pairings are confident and perfectly interchangeable.
While loyal ladies love the signature prints, eye catching fabrics and  embellishments, this collection  may attract a younger fan base with their sensual sheaths — some embroidered with relative restraint, and above the knee slip dresses. These clothes are for the cool kids.
As usual Lisa Folawiyo brings it with this collection, embracing femininity in a distinct and fresh way; playful, colorful with details overlaying the structured dresses.
Picking a favorite from this collection might be a sin against myself, now I just need to start a Lisa Folawiyo outfit savings accout. Lol
